VOLUME 19, ISSUE 3, DECEMBER 2025
This quarter, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation continued to strengthen its national impact through a combination of awareness, education and community engagement initiatives.
Highlights included the successful 21st annual Dance for Daniel, which brought together over 500 supporters to honour Daniel’s legacy and raise vital funds for child safety programs. A key milestone was the launch of the Adolescent Hub on Safer Internet Day, introducing new evidence-informed resources focused on sextortion and AI-facilitated image-based abuse. Supported by a targeted out-of-home and digital campaign, these resources are helping reach both young people and the adults who support them. Progress continued across major initiatives, with the Build It For The Kids project reaching its halfway point, demonstrating strong community and industry support.
Partnerships also remain central, with the Centurion Foundation backing practical resources that reinforce the Foundation’s core safety messaging of Recognise, React, Report. The Bright Futures program maintained momentum through training, webinars and upcoming national forums, building capability among educators and contributing to important conversations around harmful sexual behaviours and prevention.
Overall, the quarter reflects a balanced focus on prevention, education and engagement, reinforcing the Foundation’s role as a national leader in child safety.
