Come walk with us — for Daniel, for our children, and for a safer Australia

Since 2005, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has gathered with the Sunshine Coast community to walk for Daniel, from Suncoast Christian College in Woombye to Briggs Park in Palmwoods. The 4kms represents the route Daniel was unable to complete himself.

The event launches the Foundation’s Day for Daniel, Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness day.

Event Details

• Start: 6:00am – Suncoast Christian College, Woombye
• Finish: Around 9:00am – Briggs Park, Jubilee Drive, Palmwoods
• Distance: 4km (Daniel’s unfinished journey)

Parking & Shuttle Buses

• Parking is available at the finish line – Palmwoods Warriors Football Club
• Free shuttle buses to the start line run from 5:45am
• Please note: dogs are welcome on the walk but not allowed on the shuttle buses

Coffee, Food & More

• Grab a coffee or something to eat at the walk – local vendors will be there
• Bring your friends, family, workmates… even your pets! (Just not on the buses)
