National Child Protection Week 7 – 13 September 2025

At the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, we believe that every child in every community needs a fair go and that begins with making their safety a national priority.

In 2025, we proudly support National Child Protection Week and its powerful theme:

Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action.

This year’s message recognises that while open, honest conversations are essential, true progress happens when we move beyond words and take real steps to create safer environments for children.

We know that safety doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when communities, educators, families, and systems work together and ACT to protect, support, and empower children and young people.

This year’s theme calls on all of us to go further, to do more than just talk about safety. Whether it’s starting a conversation at home, delivering a lesson in the classroom, or advocating for change in your community, every action, big or small, makes a difference. That’s where our educational resources come in.
