This year marks a monumental milestone for Murphy Group as they celebrate their 50th anniversary!
Founded in 1975, Murphy Group has built an enduring legacy synonymous with excellence in the construction industry, specialising in commercial construction, residential investment, and high-end custom homes. As Sunshine Coast locals, their deep roots in the community are evident in their commitment to quality, innovation, and philanthropy.
For five decades, Murphy Group has not only constructed lasting landmarks and award-winning family homes but has also dedicated itself to making a tangible difference in the community. Since 2018, Murphy Group has been a charitable partner with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, supporting various fundraising and awareness campaigns.
A core element of their philanthropic efforts is the Build It For The Kids initiative. Murphy Group proudly serves as the Lead Project and Construction Partner, coordinating the entire project and liaising with trusted partners and suppliers. This incredible collaboration transforms a house into a beacon of hope, with every single dollar of profit from the home’s sale going directly to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. These vital funds bolster the Foundation’s crucial work in child safety education, awareness, and supporting young victims of crime.
The success of the first Build It For The Kids project in 2020, which saw a million-dollar home sold with 100% of profits donated, truly paved the way for future builds. This success was a testament to the collective effort of over 60 trades and suppliers who generously donated their time, skills, and materials.
As Murphy Group celebrates 50 years of excellence and community impact, they are thrilled to launch the second Build It For The Kids initiative this July. This beautiful new home, a coastal contemporary retreat featuring four spacious bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, dual living rooms, and an inviting alfresco area, will be constructed in the stunning Enclave Estate in Maleny, with help from Principal Developer RM Developments.
